Bella Bradford

Bella Bradford is a contemporary artist born in the West Midlands (UK) who currently resides in London. Her work explores material meanings, fashion, trends, identity, culture and domestic objects; challenging how materials affect the way that forms are perceived. She uses these objects to work around and attempt to understand her identity through nostalgia, transforming or enhancing their traditional forms, materials or meanings. Bradford recently graduated with an MFA in Fine Art specialising in Sculpture from The Slade School of Fine Art. She obtained a BA Hons in Fine Art at the University of Gloucestershire and a Foundation Diploma at Hereford College of Arts. She recently had her first London based solo exhibition at Flowers Gallery. Before that, she exhibited at Shmicks and Shmones (2021), and at the Bonbernard Gallery in Cheltenham. Her most recent exhibitions include The Wall is Never Innocent Unless Farringdon, and Interlude at Lewisham Art House.
