Yingming Chen 陳英鳴 is a London-based artist from Hong Kong, China. Born in 1997, having completed a BA Fine Arts degree at City & Guilds of London Art School in 2020 and later completed a two-year postgraduate course in Sculpture course at the Royal College of Art.
Chen’s work explores how political systems and cultural forms influence and affects the populations, to question and challenge the decisions we make under the social environment and social atmosphere, often through the potential of different materials and techniques, as well as objects and images which reflect modern society.
