“A Woman’s Life” is part of a series of programme for the exhibition “Better Than Yesterday” (23 February - 5 April 2024), which explores themes of female identity, freedom and choice.
Mandy Zhang Art and Silian Gallery have combined this performance with the delicate paintings of personal memory and self-identity by Norwegian female artist Kaja Stumpf, who is also in the exhibition, blending the concept of an art exhibition with the emotional depth of a performance.
Through the intertwining of the exhibition and the performance, we lead the audience to immerse themselves in the roles and challenges of women in society, while also highlighting the power of art in exploring issues of gender and freedom.
