Panel Discussion | Dana Nechmad, Tamar Dresdner and Sara Berman

22 April 2025, 6 PM
An intimate Artist Talk with Dana Nechmad and curator Tamar Dresdner in conversation with Sara Berman ahead of the opening of Ripped.

In Ripped, Nechmad repurposes her grandfather’s designer jackets into paintings and textile works, creating a personal dialogue with memory, power, and identity. The work evokes thoughts about power in its various manifestations, both visible and invisible and the work process confronted Nechmad with her own desire to grasp it but also her fear of it. The conversation will offer a deeper look into her process and the emotional landscape behind the exhibition.
