Yuhao Chen (b. 1994, Yichang, China) is a London-based painter whose work examines fleeting urban moments, marginal figures, and subtle emotional states within nocturnal environments. Working with oil on canvas, Chen constructs introspective scenes marked by quiet cinematic tension, capturing overlooked psychological resonances in everyday spaces. Chen holds an MFA and Post-Baccalaureate certificate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a BFA from Pennsylvania State University. He has held solo exhibitions at A/W Space (Nanjing) and Patterson Gallery (Pennsylvania), and has participated in group exhibitions at Tong Gallery + Projects (Beijing), PETITREE (Shenzhen), SAIC Galleries (Chicago), Pintó International (New York), and Research House for Asian Art (Chicago).
