Jin Han (b.1991, China) graduated from the China Academy of Art in Printmaking and Oil Painting for undergraduate and graduate studies. Currently working and living in Hangzhou and Shanghai.
Jin Han focuses on the romanticism of scientific imagery in disciplines such as astronomy, meteorology, geography, and anthropology. His creations revolve around the term "ether", exploring and expanding the possibilities of this concept within the local artistic context. His work unfolds through multimedia painting and investigates the commonalities between painterly qualities and scientific illustrations. In recent years, he has begun to explore the spirit of regional cultures under various global cultural backgrounds, reflecting these insights in his artwork.
