Mandy Zhang Art is pleased to present a solo booth by Silia Ka Tung, a London-based artist, as the booth becomes a playful,  immersive and fantastical scene. Tung’s practice draws from folklore, feminist mythologies, and the visual language of Japanese animation and video games. She is compelled to create an escapist space for us to reconnect with our childlike wonder.

You are greeted by magical creatures such as a fox, dogs, and a sea monster while a large canvas canopy descends from the truss above. Tung’s signature Sunny Side Up soft sculptures line the booth alongside a new series of vibrant works on canvas.

Mandy Zhang Art is delighted to present a solo booth by London-based artist Silia Ka Tung, transforming the fair into a fantastical wonderland of magical creatures and myth. Rooted in

folklore, feminist mythologies, and the playful spirit of Japanese animation and video games, Tung creates an escapist realm where imagination runs free.

Step in and you’ll meet the animal crowd: Miss Swish the sea creature, Aleph the cow, Miss Foxy, and a pack of floppy dogs. Her rainbow-coloured mushroom ring, Fairy Ring, blooms from

the floor, while her Sunny Side Up warriors and new myth-inspired canvases echo the stories of Persephone’s pomegranate seeds and Medea’s poisonous bloom.

It is a magical gathering, tender and untamed.

You are invited to join—but please don’t disturb.
