We are thrilled to announce that Mandy Zhang Art is debuting at Volta New York this September! As one of the most anticipated events in the contemporary art world, Volta provides a vibrant platform for galleries to showcase innovative and pioneering artists. This year, from September 4-8, we are proud to present an exclusive solo show by the talented Chinese American photographer, Sophie Zhai.
Sophie's quasi-Surreal compositions materialise the intangible psychic space of the natural sublime, imaging the interaction between humans and nature. To craft her works, Sophie draws from personal experiences, the literature she absorbs, and the people around her, leading her to shoot landscapes in her immediate environment.
