Mandy Zhang Art is thrilled to announced its return to ART SG 2026, presenting a group of six artists whose practices illuminate the evolving landscape of contemporary Asian and diasporic storytelling. The presentation moves from Jin Han’s cosmological studies—where snowflake geometries become metaphysical structures—into Silia Ka Tung’s dreamlike worlds shaped by folklore, feminist mythologies, and anime. Emi Avora reimagines cultural interiors such as opera houses and lobbies, where opulence dissolves into abstraction and shifting identities. Natasha Malik draws on Indo-Persian miniature traditions to craft symbol-rich psychological landscapes grounded in agency and memory. Michael Gao offers a sharp post-Internet perspective, using animals as mirrors of human desire and ritual within surreal, hyper-flat carnival scenes. Completing the presentation, Kenji Lim creates anthropomorphic faces that blur human, creature, and object, using soft materials and ornamental details to evoke emotional presence, ritual, and place.
